Wet Start, Fiery Finish at Inland MX Championship Round 1

The 2026 motocross season roared to life on 31 January at Dirt Bronco, where Round 1 of the Inland MX Championship delivered a full day of adrenaline, grit, and proper racing spirit. In fact, the event packed the punch of three competitions in one — hosting the Inland MX Championship, the Inland MX National Championship, and the Northern Interprovincial.

Mother Nature attempted to set the tone overnight with steady rain, leaving the track wet and technical for the early sessions. Riders were greeted by slippery lines and challenging conditions — the kind that separate the seasoned from the hopeful. Fortunately, once the sun broke through, the circuit transformed quickly, drying into the familiar dusty battlefield motocross riders know so well.

Through it all, racing conditions held strong. With approximately 130 riders lining up behind the gates and a healthy crowd of spectators adding to the atmosphere, the energy around the track was unmistakable. If Round 1 is any indication, the season ahead promises serious competition.

Our tyre-changing service, as expected, stayed flat-out throughout the day. Changing conditions meant riders needed equipment they could trust, and the steady flow through our station proved once again that preparation wins races long before the gate drops.

Dirt Bronco delivered exactly what the motocross community has come to expect — a well-run event, committed riders, and a reminder that no matter the weather, racing always finds a way.

One round down, and the championship chase is officially underway.
