Founded in Taiwan in 1962, Kenda began producing bicycle tyres and tubes before expanding into motorcycle and agricultural tyres and growing its international operations.
Today, Kenda has a global manufacturing network and supplies tyres to markets across North America, South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. In 2024, Kenda was ranked the 31st largest tyre manufacturer globally by revenue, with reported revenue of US$1.4 billion.

Kenda's tyre range has been developed to meet an exceptionally broad variety of applications.
For motorcycles, this includes sport touring, street, adventure, scooter and motocross tyres, across both radial and bias constructions. The wider Kenda range includes tyres developed specifically for ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, golf carts, turf equipment and trailers.

Kenda operates four dedicated R&D centres located in Akron, Ohio; Hamburg, Germany; Kunshan, China; and Yun Lin, Taiwan, supported by manufacturing facilities across Asia.
