Cape Town National MX at Zone 7 – 25 April 2026

Round 3 of the National Motocross Championship took place at Zone 7 in Cape Town on 25 April 2026, and what a spectacular weekend of racing it was.

From Friday's practice sessions through to Saturday's main event, the weather conditions were perfect. Riders and spectators enjoyed warm sunshine, clear skies, and virtually no wind, creating ideal racing conditions throughout the weekend.

The track was in excellent condition thanks to the hard work and preparation of Johan and his team at Zone 7. Their efforts ensured a well-groomed circuit that provided great racing for all classes.

The competition was intense, with riders battling wheel-to-wheel in true motocross fashion. Every race delivered exciting action, fierce rivalries, and hard-fought battles for positions. However, the Ladies Class proved to be one of the highlights of the day, with an incredible battle from start to finish in both motos. The racing was close, competitive, and kept spectators entertained throughout.

Pirelli Tyre Service was also out in full force, providing support to riders and teams across the weekend. Over the two days, the team completed more than 35 tyre changes, ensuring competitors had the best possible equipment for the challenging conditions.

Overall, Round 3 at Zone 7 was a fantastic success, delivering outstanding racing, excellent track conditions, and a memorable experience for riders, teams, and fans alike.
