The Eswatini Dual Bike Adventure (EDBA) returned from 27–30 August 2026 for the 22nd running of this popular adventure riding event, once again based at Piggs Peak Hotel & Casino.
Hosted by KTM, Husqvarna and GASGAS, the weekend brought together 110 riders from across South Africa, all ready to experience some of the fantastic adventure riding Eswatini has to offer.
Riders began arriving on Thursday, with an impressive mix of motorcycles rolling in for the weekend. KTM, BMW GS, Yamaha, CFMOTO and Husqvarna were all represented – along with an old-school Honda 500 from the 1980s that proved adventure certainly isn't reserved for the latest machinery!
A Route for Every Rider
One of the great things about EDBA is that riders don't all have to tackle the same level of terrain. Carefully planned routes catered for different experience and confidence levels, allowing everyone to enjoy the adventure at their own pace.
The Green Route catered for novice riders, the Red Route offered a step up for intermediate riders, while the Black Route added an extra challenge for the more experienced adventure crowd.
Cool, overcast weather played its part too, providing comfortable conditions for long days in the saddle and exploring the beautiful Eswatini landscape.
More Than Just the Riding
As with any great adventure weekend, EDBA was about much more than kilometres covered.
It was about good riding, good fun and catching up with old friends while making plenty of new ones along the way. With riders and motorcycles of all kinds sharing the same passion for adventure, the weekend captured exactly what makes the adventure riding community so special.
After four days of riding, stories and good times, another EDBA was in the books – and judging by the smiles, a great time was had by all.
The dates are already set for next year, with the 2027 Eswatini Dual Bike Adventure taking place from 12–15 August 2027.
