Round 4 of the 2026 Farm Jam series rolled into Marloo, Bronkhorstspruit on 8 August, bringing with it more than 250 riders and another fantastic day of family-friendly off-road fun.
As the penultimate round of the season, there was a great turnout, with approximately 100 junior and ladies' riders taking to their route, followed by a field of around 150 senior riders ready to tackle the day's challenges.

A cool morning soon turned into a warm, dry and dusty day in the saddle, but that was all part of the Farm Jam experience! The Van's Team put together a fantastic selection of routes, with a little bit of everything thrown in. Riders tackled tight single-track, forest sections where the handlebars only just squeezed between the trees, flowing open sections, rocky climbs and plenty of sand. And, in true Farm Jam spirit, riders could choose between the "Chilly" and "Ice Cream" routes, allowing them to select a challenge that suited their ability and appetite for adventure. One of the highlights took riders along a koppie before dropping them into an approximately 30-metre switchback single-track descent. From there, a sandy section provided another challenge before riders made their way back into the pits — ready to catch their breath and head out to do it all over again! |
A UFC Champion Joins the Fun
There was also a rather familiar face getting dirty at Marloo...
UFC Champion Dricus du Plessis swapped the Octagon for the dirt and dust and joined the Farm Jam action!
It was fantastic to see Dricus getting involved, enjoying the event alongside everyone else and completing the day's riding. A great sport and a gentleman — well done, Dricus!
That's one of the things that makes Farm Jam special. Whether you're a junior rider, a weekend warrior, an experienced racer or even a UFC Champion, there's a place for you on the start line.
That's What Farm Jam Is About
With more than 250 riders, families filling the pits, plenty of dusty smiles and a route that offered something for every level of rider, Marloo once again showed that Farm Jam is about much more than racing.
It's about getting out there, enjoying your motorcycle, challenging yourself and spending a great day in the dirt with friends and family.
