The day kicked off under a blanket of early morning mist before burning off into a hot, dry, blue-sky classic—prime conditions for proper riding.
A solid 320 riders lined up on the gate, from the little chargers on PW50s to the heavy hitters on 450s. Add in the adventure bike rodeo, and you had a full house of throttle therapy. Racing was tight across the board, with riders pushing anywhere from one lap to five, depending on class and courage.
Credit where it’s due—Melissa, Leon, and the team from Vans Auto ran a slick operation, delivering an event that ticked all the boxes. A big thank you as well to the owners of Ribbokkloof for opening up a venue that’s as good as it gets.
We’ll see you next year—same dust, same smiles.
