The latest Funduro delivered exactly what these events are all about – a relaxed, welcoming day on two wheels where riders of all experience levels could simply get out and enjoy riding.
Unlike a traditional race event, Funduro is all about the experience. Riders could head out at their own pace and tackle an approximately 60km loop, with the option of completing additional laps for those wanting a little more time in the saddle.
The route offered something for everyone, with faster flowing sections mixed with slower technical terrain, rocky challenges and riverbed sections along the way. From entry-level riders finding their feet to experienced riders looking for a fun day out, everyone could enjoy the route at a pace that suited them.
One of the things that makes Funduro particularly special is the variety of riders and motorcycles it attracts. From affordable weekend bikes to top-end machines, everyone shares the same trails, pits and passion for riding. There are no pressures of racing – just a great community enjoying a day out on their motorcycles.

Showing Off Our Newest Addition – Kenda!Of course, we couldn't miss the chance to show off our newest addition, Kenda Motorcycle Tyres, and introduce more off-road riders to the brand. There was plenty of interest throughout the day, with many riders already recognising the Kenda name but excited to finally get a closer look at the tyres and chat to the BikeWise team about the range. And because no day in the dirt goes completely according to plan, we also got our hands dirty! The team helped riders out with six puncture repairs during the day, getting them sorted and back out on the trails. |
We also gave away three Kenda tyre vouchers, with one very excited rider wasting absolutely no time in claiming his new tyre!
For us, Funduro was simply a great opportunity to get out there, have some fun with the riding community and show off a brand we're genuinely excited to have as part of the BikeWise family.
Good trails, good people, plenty of dirt and Kenda along for the ride – that's our kind of day!
