The National Motocross Championship arrived in Bloemfontein on 30 May 2026 for another action-packed round of racing at the BROC circuit.
With more than 120 riders lining up on the starting gates, the event showcased South Africa's top motocross talent, from the exciting 50cc Mini classes right through to the premier MX1 category. Riders and spectators were treated to a professionally prepared circuit, with the track receiving praise throughout the weekend for its excellent condition and layout. A special thank you goes to Doug and his team for their hard work in preparing and maintaining a fantastic racing venue.
The day's racing delivered plenty of excitement, close battles, and spectacular riding across all classes. Pirelli riders enjoyed an outstanding weekend, claiming victories in every class from the 50cc category through to MX1, with the exception of only the 125cc class.
Among the highlights of the event were the MX1 races, where both the first and second motos produced thrilling battles and intense competition between the country's top riders. The racing kept spectators on the edge of their seats and demonstrated the high level of talent currently competing in the National Championship.
The Pirelli Tyre Service team was once again on hand throughout the weekend, providing valuable rider support, tyre selection advice, and technical assistance. Over 25 tyre changes were completed during the event, helping riders maximise performance and confidence on race day.
Overall, the BORC National delivered outstanding racing, excellent track conditions, and another successful weekend for riders, teams, sponsors, and motocross fans alike.
